ABOUT THE PORTFOLIO
The art is essentially about saturated color and design in digital art and painting. There is an abstract geometrical structure in many of the compositions. The collection was created during a six year period starting in 2015. The digital electronic images began in 2017 and are on going. The ease of storing electronic images as well as the facility and flexibility of paint programs motivated me to create over 100 compositions. I am principally interested in science, science fiction, and new technology, all of which I read about avidly. They are sources of inspiration and fuel my imagination. I am especially intrigued by new findings in astronomy and satellite telescope images; theories in quantum physics; the seemingly myriad variations in the insect world; the amazing color seen in flowering plants, birds and tropical reef fish; and the advance of A.I., drone and robotics technologies. It's a very mixed bag but one which provides for lots of new ideas to muse upon and create art about. The Arizona Sonoran Desert is my home. It is a natural wonder and a constant dramatic source of stimulation.
I hope you enjoyed visiting my website. Archival color prints are available for purchase.
